What Are We Coming To?

 

 

 

WAKE UP WORLD!!

 

     Watching the movie Food Inc. I could only think, what is the world becoming? Now every time I get ready to eat I think where did this chicken come from? Is it really clean or was it cloned? The way they treated the animals were ridiculous. I believe animals have souls to and they were treated as if it was routine to chop off their heads. The crazy thing about it, is that I'm not too surprised with how they were being treated. Africans were once used as such, it seems that now cows and chickens has become our modern day slaves. The farmers knew what they were doing was wrong, but they don't have enough money to defend themselves. Im not surprised by that either, who ever has the most money usually runs the show. Which gives me a bad feeling about the society we live in, not much of an democracy. Engineering and food don't go togther, I understand we are growing in technology and some of the equipment are useful and can make a faster process. But things can definately be more sanitary and less chemicals used on the food we eat. I was appalled to find out that a child died from a fast food burger. I eat those almost evey other day so to think, I could've been dead is ridiculous! We should be aware as Americans of what is being done to the food we consume. Im sure if most people knew of all the things going on with our food there would be longer lives lived. I think this is exactly how the government wants it, for us not to be aware and they distract us with all this new technology we don't notice what's really killing us.
