BLOGS BLOGS BLOGS BLOGS!!

Blogs blogs blogs blogs blogs!! That's all I've been viewing for the past three hours, blogs. There are so many different types. I have never been into blogs, I thought they were strictly for internet freaks but I can see now that they can be useful and informal. They have different topics such as politics, entertainment, business, sports, and there're blogs with just people's personal opinions. I believe in order to view certain blogs you definately have to have an interest in it. Some seem very dull and boring and others are graphic and colorful, what ever floats your boat! I'm more of an visual person myself, I like ones with videos, links, or pictures. Looking at all the different blogs, I was thinking that I wouldn't find one that I really thought was unique until I seen, "How To Suck At Your Religion". It was in the humorous category, it was a topic that I've currently been dealing with. I was forced to attend a christian church as a child, going evey sunday it became natural and was all I had to believe in as a kid. As I got older and began piecing my own views on life I began to question christianity. It was something I thought shouldn't happen, not knowing the truth this became a serious subject." How To Suck At Your Religon" is an comic blog basically discussing how people act toward their relgion in a humorous way.It was great pictures the font stood out and was easy to read. I found myself reading and laughing way more than I expected, coming from a blog. It actually helped and its something I could discuss and show my friends.

So I've become a little more open to "certain" blogs, maybe as the course goes on I may really be into them who knows??

  1. Ross--You have some good content here, but you need to make sure you are always working to make it connect to your audience. Create significance. Make sure the audience knows why/how your info is important to them. You have pretty good visual appeal, but keep working on it. Also, you need to make sure you are editing more carefully. Grammar correctness is important in a professional/casual blog. You are missing a self-generated entry.
